Dear Cartoonist our friend, 
this year we organized the tenth International Eskiþehir Festival, the subject of cartoons, "Black and White (Settlement)" was chosen as. 
Aktiffelsef – New Yüksektepe through his volunteer work on different subjects in the study, the general public and recommends a holistic way that could allow for the development both of individuals to create solutions to the problems of the modern world. 
In this context, not a clash of opposites; balance, the idea could create the harmony and reconciliation, are the subject of the 10th International Eskiþehir Festival cartoons. Contrast of, starting from the concept can coexist in harmony without losing its properties,  Black & White (Reconciliation)  expect on your cartoon.
Because we know; Black and white, two clearly opposing elements which can be found in a large balance and harmony with each other. Among them is a compromise and said the entire universe is built on compromise. 
For we know that the problem of people started and people resolved, people’s physical, psychological and mental needs to work on how to be healthy and meet people with practical applications it is necessary to focus people to strengthen these plans. Increased levels of cognitive human, to live in places where they will be reflected in the way of life. Despite our daily life experiences and events taking place across the globe, in a world where there is no conflict or opposition, we think it is possible. 
At the same time in December 2018 "Black-and-White (Settlement)" will be on exhibit visits. 
Aktiffelsef to – as the new Cultural Association, cartoonist of all Black-White (Reconciliation) expect different interpretations on the subject. 
Works will then be exhibited in this festival, Istanbul, Turkey, Ankara, Izmir, Eskisehir, Adana, Antalya, Bursa, Izmit, Mersin, Yalova province of branches and Aktiffelsef – New Cultural Association’s overseas through such events organized by other organizations that collaborated exhibited, it will be submitted to the attention of art lovers. 
We invite December 2018 will be held in Eskisehir Eskisehir to participate in the 10th International Cartoon Festival with you too valuable work. 
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: 
SUBJECT

* Boyabat Yasar Gunner Boarding Secondary School , which trained village children and especially pictures and a boarding school known for its national and international success in the cartoon field. 
* The aim of the competition is our world and humanity’s war, hunger, health, environmental and so on. the common problem sensitive to our kids shared a language areas "in the language of comics" bringing attention to these problems, the solution search and reveal a future design for creating awareness on this issue …  

1- The contest’s theme is " FUTURE WORLD " 
 2- contest the general public and all private Turkey 5-6-7-8 secondary schools. class is open to. 
3- cartoons minimum A4 (21 X 7.29 cm) and maximum A3 (7.29 X 42 cm) should be in size.
Competitors can submit up to three 4-cartoon contest. 
5- to send cartoons may have been published previously, but must not have received any prize in any competition before. 
6- Another cartoon from cartoonist of "copy as", exchanged jokes "redraw" and cartoons containing adult intervention will be excluded from the competition by the selection committee and the participants will be in the responsibility in this regard.

International Tourism Cartoon Competition 2018

Submission Guidelines

  • The competition is open to all amateur and professional cartoonists.
  • Each performer is allowed to submit maximum three works.
  • The cartoons submitted to the competition may be prepared as original drawings, digital printings or computer printouts. The drawing technique is open-ended. Drawings may be colorful or black and white. On the other hand, performers are required to put signatures on their drawings.
  • Participants must write their names, surnames and addresses behind their drawings. Also, they must complete the Participant Information Form placed under submission page and send it together with their drawings.
  • Cartoons sent may be of the ones previously published somewhere but previously awarded cartoons are not allowed to submit.
  • Cartoons submitted for selection will be able to be printed in the publication of Anatolia Tourism Academy and in other printed materials of this organization such as books, catalogs, brochures, postcards, web sites and posters. All rights for any other publishing except these belong to the owner of drawing.
  • The cartoons that will be selected after the first evaluation will be announced between January 16 and 22, 2018. The objections will took into account between January 24 and 31, 2019.
  • Finalist cartoons will be published in the album. Cartoonists whose drawings published in this album will be sent a copy of the album.
  • Regardless of award-winning or taking place in the album, all the cartoons submitted for selection will not be returned.
  • All the cartoonists participated in the competition are implied to agree on the conditions and regulations of the competition.
  • Submission deadline is 31 December 2018.

The decision of the jury will be announced by 14 February 2018.
The Awards ceremony will be held at Final Night of the Festival – 1st April 2019.
The Organizaion of the festival will bear the cost of the trip and accommodation for the awarded authors. The official langauges of the festival are Serbian and English.
All artists whose works are selected for the exhibition and the catalog, will receive a free copy of the catalog. The works of art remain the property of the Festival. The organizer reserves the right to use the works sent for the competition in order to promote the Festival.

CALL TO THE TENTH INTERNATIONAL CARTOON CONTEST 
OF THE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF BRILLIANT MINDS: LA CIUDAD DE LAS IDEAS

  

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

   1.   The contest is open to professional and amateur artists from around the world older than 18 years old.

   2.   All work submitted must be completely original and unpublished. Submissions must not be simultaneously participating in any other contest or event.

   3.   The concept to develop and theme of La Ciudad de las Ideas are the following:

 

What is the most burning question of today?

 

 

What questions should we be asking about current education? What new questions should be asked regarding the exercise of reading and education? What consequences sprout in an era where a lot of digital information is read in cell phones or computers and not in books? What difference do we find between reading books and digital reviews? What role does the evolution of our species have in the act of reading or not reading? What should we be reading? What books need to be written? Who should write a book and has not yet done so? What topics do we need to read? WHAT ARE THOSE BURNING QUESTIONS THAT YOU HAVE NOT DONE concerning READING?

 

*The organization reserves the right to withdraw from the contest all work considered offensive or that infringes upon human rights and gender equality.

 

   4.   Each contestant will be able to participate only with three different works (those contestants who send more than 3 works will be disqualified).

   5.   All techniques will be accepted (digital or manual, color or b/w).
 

   6.   The work may not exceed the following sizes: 22cm x 33cm or a proportional size; and if it is a digital work, the resolution must not be less than 300dpi and no heavier than 10 Megabytes.
 

   7.   If the contestant submits his/her original work, the following information shall be attached in a sealed envelope:

   8.   The contestant will sign a certification. If the work is sent by means of the form, the contestant should only click on the acceptance box; if the work is physically sent, the contestant should sign and include the following legend:

I, (name of the author), accept, for the simple fact of submitting this work under the terms of the contest, the use of said work for the purposes that are considered appropriate by Poder Cívico A.C.

The cartoons will only be used to broadcast the festival in various media, including reproduction in catalogs, postcards, books, Internet or television according to the agreements with the sponsors.

 

   11.  This call will be valid from June 27th until September 24th, 2018. All the work sent by mail or courier service should have this date registered as deadline on the postmark or mail.

 

   12.  The contest results will be announced on the official website of La Ciudad de las Ideas www.ciudaddelasideas.com, on Twitter @cddelasideas, and on Facebook www.facebook.com/laciudaddelasideas

Winners will be notified to the email included in the information submitted. Please ignore any confirmation mail if it does not contain the domain ciudaddelasideas.com or podercivico.org.mx.

 

   13.  The jury will be selected by Poder Cívico and it will be able to solve any situation related to the contest that does not obey the established in these terms. The prize might be declared void if the jury deems that none of the works presented have sufficient quality, whose decision will be final. The jury members will be announced once the call is ongoing.

 

   14.  Non-winning original works may be claimed by the authors at Poder Cívico A. C. offices three months after the ruling. Any unclaimed original work will remain in custody of Martha Barragán Méndez to return the works after the date established by Poder Cívico A. C.

Dear colleagues,

 I would like to inform you that Cartoon festival "Kolašin 2018" has announced The Third International Cartoon Contest. Despite having far fewer resources this time, we are more optimistic and therefore we hope that this festival will last and will become a traditional one. We start with modest means but we are convinced that the festival will become more significant and notable in years to come. Well, may this new beginning be happy! 

Rules: 

CONTEST THEME: MOUNTAINS AND SEA  / Turism of Montenegro, skiing and swimming in the same day !!! You shall send three works wich you consider to be the best. Cartoons can previously be published or rewarded and should be creative, funny and amusing. Works have to be graphically convenient for printing on T-shirts. The participants may send a maximum of 3 works to compete. TECHNIQUE: Free All entries must be send by e-mail only.
