Technical Criteria
· All artworks to be prepared at 300 dpi
· Actual size A3 (297mmx420mm) in JPG format.
· Submitted works can be in color or black and white , in any style or technique
· Number of entries is unlimited.
· Submitted works must not violate copyright laws.
· By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his own and permits the organizers to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to the exhibition.

Selection Criteria
· Entries will be judged by prominent Jury based on the quality of work submitted.

2. The number of entries is limited to 5.

Any kind of graphical technique will be accepted, including 3-D works.

Digital artwork is preferably printed by the artist, in order to present a

suffi cient high quality work to the jury. They may not have been exhibited

or published before.

Our website www.ecc-kruishoutem.be will inform you if your works have

arrived. The list of participants will be updated every day.

4. The drawings shall have the following dimensions: 210 x 297 mm (A4) –

(8.268 x 11.693 inches). The drawing must bear, on the reverse side,

the surname and forename of the participant, for 3-D entries at the bot-
tom of the work. The drawings shall not bear subtitles.

5. By participating, the artists authorize the organizers to publish the submit-
ted works in the catalogue and for the promotion of the exhibition.

6. The following prizes are awarded:

1st prize € 1.600,00 + trophy

2nd prize € 1.400,00 + trophy

3rd prize € 1.200,00 + trophy

Prize of the ECC Personal exhibition in the ECC

Prize of the EU € 750,00

Best Belgian Cartoon € 750,00

On the occasion of the prize-giving, the winners are invited for a stay of 3

days.

7. On request the participants get a free catalogue. However, the postage

costs are for their own account (for participants who do not reside in

Belgium using 6 coupons international reply). These coupons are avail-
able in your local post offi ce). They can also collect the catalogue at the

European Cartoon Center.

8. By participating the artist lends the submitted works to the organizers for

itinerant exhibitions .

Consequently, the selected works will remain at the disposal of the

organizers until December 2015!

The awarded works will become property of the organization.

9. The entries will only be sent back by the organizers on written request.

3-D works can be collected at the ECC in the course of 2016. They can be

sent back on written request, the postage costs being in this case on the

account of the artist. The organization can in no way be held responsible

for eventually damaged or lost works.

10. If after announcement of the prizes, it appears that plagiarism has been

committed, the jury can after deliberation withdraw the prize.

11. The international jury consisting of cartoon professionals will meet in

Kruishoutem on 27th January 2015.

12. The inauguration and awards ceremony will take place on 28th March

2015. The exhibition will run 29th March till 20th June 2015.

Pannonpower Cartoon Contest 2015
Drawings in green – innovative energy production by biomass

1.) The Contest is open to natural persons who are 18 years of age or older and have legal capacity. This is a single-run contest. Entry form, that can be found and downloaded from this website has to be sent – together with the entries – to grafikuskelemen@gmail.com e-mail address, signed and scanned. Each Contestant may submit 5 entries in A4 size without text and without any technical restrictions. (File properties: CYMK, jpg, high resolution – the Gmail account is able to send messages up to 10 MB in size.)

5.) A catalogue will be prepared with the entered works which will be sent for the Contestants included in it for free.

6.) By entering this contest Contestant agrees to accept all decisions of the jury related to the contest, which decision shall be binding in every respect. All legal measures excluded.

7.) Contestants submitting valid applications grant to Dalkia Szolgáltató Központ Kft. to use the entries particularly (but not exclusively) in the following ways and fields:
– digital and paper-based catalogues,
– on the websites www.pannonpower.hu, and in Pannonpower’s Facebook page,
– free-of-charge publications (not for sale) distributed among business partners,
– exhibitions,

Regulation:

1. The Competition is open to all artist — Caricaturist, Illustrator, Cartoonist, Printmaker and Painter around world regardless of nationality, age, sex, etc.

2. Theme:

B) PIRATES
C) GOATS,SHEEP; FREE

3. Entries: At most 7 works (pieces or series) for each Theme.

4. The size of the works should be unbounded.

5. Technique and medium of works are unlimited. Any painting, Print making, Traditional Chinese Painting, Oil painting, Watercolor, Crafts art or Children’s painting will be accepted.

6. Artist should summit the original works. Any computer prints, slide, photograph, Xerox will not be accepted.

7. Works whether they have been awarded in other contests previously will be accepted.

8. Author’s resume and photo (entry-form and biography) should be submitted with entries together. First name, Last name, Address, Email, Telephone number and category should be written on the reverse side of the works.

Topic 2014 : CORRUPTION

Competition terms :

Each author can send maximum 5 original works.
The competition is open to everybody and is not restricted in terms of artistic design methods.
The format of works should not exceed the A4 dimension.
The competition is non-anonymous.
The works can be sent either online, by filling the electronic application form, or via regular mail, with each work signed on the reverse with the author´s name and their address.
The rewarded works will become the property of the organiser.

The exhibition of the works and the announcement of the results will take place in December 2014 in Prešov. The most successful authors will be awarded by the international jury as follows:

The organisers reserve the right to publish selected works in promotional materials and to re-install the exhibition. The catalogue will be sent to each competitor whose works will be published in the catalogue.

The authors agree that their works become the property of the organisers at no charge, that copies of their works might be made and used in re-installing the exhibition in other venues and that their works might be published free of charge in order to promote the exhibition.

1. PARTICIPATION
The Contest is open to all cartoonists from all over the world and beyond.
2. THEME: Corruption.
Corruption is a social disease that has always been common to humanity: What produces it? It is
inherent to humans? Is it possible to eradicate?
This year we are inviting you to express your personal opinion on this distressing problem found
across the world.
3. THE PRIZES
1st Prize: $2000 US dollars.
2nd Prize: $1500 US dollars.
3rd Prize: $1000 US dollars.
