Theme: Carnival – Erotica
Deadline: 05. 02. 2011

Aphorism:
In this category each author can participate with maximum of 10 aphorisms, printed in three copies, completed with code and particulars about the author, and set in sealed envelope.
The authors are allowed to participate with more works, each as group of 10(ten) aphorisms and marked with particular code.

Caricature:
In this category, the authors can participate and send 3 caricatures, maximum.
The technique is on their own choice, and dimensions A/4.
Particulars about the authors should be written at the back side of the work.

Contest due date:
The works will be accepted up to: February 05, 2011, at latest.

Awards:
Three main prizes will be awarded: Golden, Silver and Bronze Plaque.
The Organizer retains the right to award some additional prizes.

17. Uluslararasý 7-77 Karikatür Festivali 
 

*Karikatür Vakfý tarafýndan düzenlenen 17. Uluslararasý 7-77 Karikatür Festivali 15-18 Nisan 2011 tarihlerinde dört gün süreyle Ankara’da yapýlacaktýr.

*Festival kapsamýnda yer alan 7-17 Karikatür Yarýþmasý’nýn amacý çocuklar arasýndaki kardeþlik, sevgi, dostluk baðlarýný geliþtirmek ve onlarý barýþcýl bir geleceðe hazýrlamaktýr.

*7-17 Karikatür Yarýþmasý 7-17 yaþlarý arasýndaki tüm çocuklara açýktýr.

*Yarýþma konusu ‘Küresel Isýnma’dýr.

Özellikle karbondioksit, sera gazlarýnýn salýnýmý nedeniyle dünyamýzýn ikliminin deðiþtiði, mevsimlerin olaðan dýþý yaþandýðý gözlemlenmektedir. Bu nedenle kutuplarda buzullarýn eridiði, kýtalarý tehdit ettiði, çevre felaketlerinin oluþtuðu görülmektedir. Küresel ýsýnmanýn tüm canlýlarýn yaþamýný zora soktuðu gerçeðiyle karþý karþýyayýz.

Karikatürcüler küresel ýsýnmanýn yaþamlarýna ve dünyadaki etkilerini, gözlemlerini ve duygularýný anlatan  karikatürler çizebilirler.

*Karikatürler A4 ya da A3 boyutlarýnda her tür kaðýda istedikleri teknikle, siyah-beyaz, renkli olarak çizilebilir.

*Karikatürcüler en çok üç karikatürle yarýþmaya katýlabilirler.Yarýþmacýlar karikatürlerin arkasýna ad-soyadlarýný, doðum tarihlerini, okullarýný, adreslerini yazmalýdýrlar.

*Yarýþmacýlar karikatürlerini 15 ÞUBAT 2011 tarihinde kadar ‘7-17 KARÝKATÜR YARIÞMASI – PK:364 YENÝÞEHÝR 06443 ANKARA’ posta adresine göndermelidirler.

*Jürinin seçeceði en iyi karikatürü çizen karikatürcüye 1000 TL (Bin Türk Lirasý) para ödülü, plaket ve diploma verilecektir. Ayrýca karikatürleri sergilenmeye deðer görülen tüm karikatürcülere diploma gönderilecektir.

*Yarýþmada ödül alan karikatürcü 15-18 Nisan tarihinde yapýlacak 17. Uluslararasý 7-77 Karikatür Festivali’ne davet edilerek 7-17 KARÝKATÜR YARIÞMASI karikatür sergisi açýlýþýnda ödülünü alacaktýr.

28. AYDIN DOGAN INTERNATIONAL CARTOON COMPETITION

• The Aydin Dogan International Cartoon Competition is held every year in Turkey

by the Aydin Dogan Foundation.

• The competition is open to professional and amateur cartoonists from all over the world.

• The Jury, composed of international members, will meet in June 2011.

• The XXVIII. Aydin Dogan International Cartoon Competition will be celebrated

with an award ceremony in October 2011 in Istanbul.

PARTICIPATION RULES

1) Choice of subject is free.

2) Only original cartoons or internet print outs signed by the cartoonists will be accepted

for the competition. Photographs, photocopies, etc… will not be accepted.

3) Size of cartoons should not exceed 29.7 x 42cm (A3 paper size).

4) Participants are expected to send the filled out participation form, with a short curriculum vitae

and a photograph, together with their cartoons. Please find the form attached to this booklet

and posted on www.aydindoganvakfi.org.tr . The documents should be sent to:

Ayd›n Do¤an Foundation, Oymac› Sokak, No: 15, Altunizade 34662, Istanbul / Turkey.

5) The Foundation will not be responsible for any damage that may occur during postage

and handling.

6) Award-winning cartoons will not be returned to the artists.

7) By filling out the participation form, the participant declares and accepts in advance that

(s)he hands over the financial rights (s)he holds over the cartoons vis-à-vis the public to the

Ayd›n Do¤an Foundation without limitations on location, time period and number including

assignment to third parties under Articles 21-25 of the Law on Intellectual Property Rights

for publication. (S)he agrees that the Ayd›n Do¤an Foundation may use such cartoons, exhibit

them, keep them in its archives and publish them on the Internet or through other media.

8) The Foundation will cover the travel and accommodation expenses of the first three

prize-winning cartoonists for the award ceremony in Turkey.

9) Cartoons that have not received any prize shall be returned to their owners upon written

application to the Foundation within one year.

10) Deadline for entries is Monday May 2nd, 2011.

11) Former jury members can not participate in the competition.

• Aydýn Doðan Uluslararasý Karikatür Yarýþmasý her yýl Türkiye’de Aydýn Doðan Vakfý tarafýndan düzenlenmektedir.
• Yarýþma, tüm ülkelerin profesyonel ve amatör karikatüristlerine açýktýr.
• Seçiciler Kurulu uluslararasý üyelerden oluþmaktadýr. Kurul, Haziran 2011’de toplanacaktýr.

• XVIII. Aydýn Doðan Uluslararasý Karikatür Yarýþmasýnýn ödül töreni Ekim 2011’de Ýstanbul’da yapýlacaktýr.

KATILIM KOÞULLARI

1) Yarýþma serbest konuludur.

2) Yarýþmaya orijinal karikatürle katýlýnýr. Karikatürler bilgisayar çýktýsý olarak gönderilecekse orijinal imzalý (ýslak imzalý) olmasý gerekmektedir. Fotoðraf, fotokopi vs. kabul edilmeyecektir.
3) Gönderilen karikatürler en fazla A3 (29,7 x 42cm) ebadýnda olacaktýr.
4) Yarýþmaya katýlanlar, ekteki veya www.aydindoganvakfi.org.tr adresinde yayýnlanan katýlým formunu doldurarak, kýsa özgeçmiþlerini ve bir fotoðraflarýný eserleriyle birlikte: Aydýn Doðan Vakfý, Oymacý Sokak. No: 15, Altunizade 34662 Ýstanbul/Türkiye adresine göndereceklerdir.
5) Eserin postada zarar görmesinden Vakýf sorumlu deðildir.
6) Yarýþmaya katýlýp ödül kazanan karikatürler iade edilmeyecektir.
7) Katýlýmcý, katýlým formunu doldurmakla yarýþmaya katýlacaðý karikatür(ler) üzerinde haiz olduðu ve FSEK’nun 21. – 25.madde hükümlerinde tanýmlanan iþleme, çoðaltma, yayma, temsil ve iþaret, ses ve/veya görüntü nakline yarayan araçlarla umuma iletim mali haklarýný, bunlarýn 3. kiþilere devir haklarýný da kapsar þekilde herhangi bir yer, süre ve sayý kýsýtlamasý olmaksýzýn Aydýn Doðan Vakfý’na devrettiðini, Aydýn Doðan Vakfý’nýn söz konusu karikatürü(leri) sergilemek, arþivinde tutmak, internet ortamýnda ve sair þekillerde yayýnlamak suretiyle ve bunlarla sýnýrlý olmaksýzýn dilediði her þekilde kullanmasýna muvafakatinin olduðunu peþinen beyan ve kabul etmektedir.
8) Ýlk üç dereceye girenlerin, ödül törenine gelmeleri için gereken yol ve konaklama giderleri Vakýf tarafýndan karþýlanacaktýr.
9) Ödül alamayan karikatürler, sahiplerinin 1 yýl içerisinde Vakfa yazýlý olarak baþvurmalarý halinde iade edilecektir.
10) Yarýþmaya son katýlma tarihi 2 Mayýs 2011 Pazartesi günüdür.
11) Yarýþmamýzda jüri üyeliði yapan sanatçýlar yarýþmaya katýlamazlar.

• Theme: Plastic Surgery

THE FIRST "ANTI-TERRORISM" INTERNATIONAL CARTOON CONTEST 2011

Introduction:
The modern world is prey to wretched acts of evil totalitarians
who see nothing but their interests. Indeed, architects of violence
 and terrorism have no other intention but to obliterate any other existence.
Their evil deeds know no boundaries and their targets include the public
 from all walks of life.

Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Lebanon, Palestine and �
 are among territories that have for a long time been areas of
interest for dominators. Although they have suffered great tyranny,
these people stood strong to retain their pride and go down the history.

Objective:
The objective of this competition is to unfurl the evil face of
terrorism that creates agitation, concern and insecurity in
societies by killing innocent people to achieve its objectives.

The 17th International Ankara Cartoon Festival is going to be held from April 15th to 18th 2011 during the 82nd Children’s Day activities, which are celebrated in our country every year in on the 23rd April .
The international 7-77 Cartoon Competition will be organized under the 17th International Ankara Cartoon Festival. The aim of the competition is to make children familiar with the art of cartooning and to contribute the development of sensitivity towards humour by enriching their world with the help of cartoons you will draw.
 
All proffessional and amateur cartoonists will be welcomed to  join in by drawing cartoons for children.
Cartoons can be drawn in black-white or colourful using any technique in either A4 or A3 size.
Cartoonists can join in the competition with an original  cartoon that can be understood by children. Competitors must write their names, surnames and addresses on the back of their cartoons.
 
The deadline for the competition is February 15th, 2011. Cartoons should be sent to the  following address:
