The Organizers have the right to the change in the amount of particular prizes, nonetheless, the total amount of prizes shall remain unchanged.

THE JURY:
The Jury comprises of the Organizers representatives as well as artist dealing with art in practice or as theoreticians.

PARTICIPATION:
Both professional and amateur cartoonists are eligible to take part in the competition.
Unlimited original works (format min. A5 max. A3 ) in optional technique should be sent or delivered by May 31-st, 2010 to the following address:

The Organizers are not responsible for damage or loss during transportation!

The winners as well as cartoonists qualified to participate in the post-competition exhibiton shall be provided with a free copy of a catalogue published by the Organizers.
The Organizers provide the competition prize winners with free acccomodation and boarding during the exhibition event.
The winners receive their prizes on condition that they are either present at the opening of the post competition exhibition or else they indicate a bank account where the money is to be transfered.
The works become the property of the Organizers and shall be included in the collection of the False Mirror gallery located in Lubuskie Stowarzyszenie Miłośników Działań Kulturalnych DEBIUT in Zielona Gora.
Every participant in the competition agrees to their free of fees delivery of works to the False Mirror gallery.
Every work delivered to the competition ought to be accompanied (on the reverse) with the readable author’s signature, address and a telephone number.
By sending their works to the competition the participants agree to the abovementioned regulations and they further agree to the free of fees publication of their works for marketing purposes connected with the competition and post competition exhibition.
The exhibition organizers are the final judges in the interpretation of these regulations.

By sending his/her works and taking part in the competition the artist agrees to the abovementioned rules and regulations.

Our only earth, who provides us existing homeland, is struggling in environment disasters.
For the coming Earth Day on 22nd April, Zhongman organize this International
Non-profit Environment Cartoon Exhibition, to call for everyone’s
action to protect our home.
Zhongman is the most influential Chinese cartoon and animation website.
We have organized international cartoon contest and exhibition for about 10 years.
And we concern environment problems as one of the main themes from the beginning.
For this exhibition, cartoonists can send us old or new works
(of course with no restriction from other contests or publishing organizations).

and be recommend to social environment-protecting organization

15th INTERNATIONAL ZAGREB CARTOON EXHIBITION 2010

A. PARTICIPATION
The organizer of the 15th International festival of cartoon ZAGREB 2010 is the Croatian Cartoonist Association. The festival is opened for everyone regardless of nationality, age, sex, or profession.

C. ENTRIES
Conditions of entry:
1. Original works and digital artwork will be accepted. Digital
artwork is to be numbered in pencil on the front and pencil
signed. Copies cannot be admitted.
2. Entries can be either black and white or coloured.
3. There should be the name, the surname and the adress on the
reverse side of cartoons.
4. The cartoons must not have been previously awarded on
festivals.
5. Maximum 3 entries will be submitted.
6. Size of entries is A4 or A3 format.

G. EXHIBITION
The exhibition will take place in Gallery Klovićevi dvori in Zagreb on the 16th of June 2010.

H. OTHER CONDITIONS
Authors of works that qualify to the exhibition are given a presentation copy of the exhibition cataloque.
Only on explicit request will remaining (original) works be returned to the owners in the end of the exhibition cycle (in the second half of the year 2011), at the expense of the organizers.
The organizer reserves the right to reproduce the works sent to the festival, Zagreb 2010, as the advertising material without being obliged to pay a fee to an author whose work may be used.
The prize-winning works become property of the organizer.

2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa Cartoon Exhibition

The 19th World Cup will be held in South Africa！ It is the first time been hosted by an African nation and took place between 11 June and 11 July 2010 for a whole month! As the premier international football Tournament, FIFA is the Carnival of soccer fans around the world!

China Animation & Comic Network (www.zhongman.com) has launched the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa cartoon Exhibition. Cartoonists all over the world could create original artwork for our loves for the game and its core values : friendship, tolerance, justice, faith and courage—-and share them with zhongman’s readers across China and the globe!

It’s a free exhibition and the selected works will be published on the event’s Topic Page on Zhongman.com and other cooperation media. Excellent works will get the chance to publish on TV, newspaper , magazine and etc..

III. Baja Cartoon Competition 2010

The town of Baja – famous for its Fish Soup Contest (www.bajaihalfozofesztival.hu) – organises its third cartoon competition, and this time it goes international!

Every fun loving amateur or professional cartoonist is welcome to enter the event.

Theme: PASSION for HUNTING and FISHING

This passion is there in every one of us. We may not fish and hunt in the original sense of these words, but all of us long for the ‘big prize’. Today, when we are experiencing financial, economic, political and moral crises, it takes more and more creativity hunt down or fish out that prize: a good job, a beautiful woman, a rare stamp, a big fish or a trophy. We spend our lives in pursuit of the big opportunity, the chance that may well be the only one.

Yes! If you think it over carefully enough you’ll see that we do fish and hunt in all walks of our lives.

Our cartoon competition calls everybody to show with the help of humour just how passionate men and women can be when they are fishing or hunting!

Competition details:

1.) Participants can submit up to three original cartoons in A/4 or A/3 size, using any technique. Prints of cartoons produced or coloured with software can also be submitted on condition that it has the cartoonist’s original signature and the print’s serial number.

(The copy or digital run-off of the original cartoon is not accepted.)

2.) The participants should write their name, address, phone number and e-mail address on the back of the cartoons.

REGULATION OF SECOND MEDPLAN HALL OF HUMOR

REGULATION

1 – REGISTRATION: February 22 to April 22, 2010.

The 2nd Hall Medplan Mood is open to all graphic artists Brazilians in charge or arrangements cartoon. The opening of the hall will be on May 20, 2010 with the release of the winners. Each artist may sign with the maximum of three (3) unpublished 30X40cm format and using any technique. On the back of each paper should include author’s full name, address, e-mail, phone, ID number, Social Security and bank account.

2 – BACKGROUND

The theme of the 2nd Hall Medplan Mood be sedentary.

The submissions will undergo a selection committee, composed of the organizers of the Salon Medplan Mood and guests.

3 – AWARDS

The best job in the hall, between cartoon and cartoon, you will receive a prize of $ 3,000.00 (three thousand reais). The second place will receive $ 2,000.00 (two thousand reais). Other awards may be instituted at the discretion of the organizing committee. The best works will be part of the exhibition hall Medplan Mood.

Awards will be considered acquisitive and will become part of the collection of Medplan. The works will not be returned.

May not participate in this hall Medplan officials and their relatives, nor anyone involved in your organization.

Simply set up automatic enrollment of the participant agreement with all terms of this regulation.

OPEN COMPETITION FOR

8th Comic Showroom VELES 2010

 

Propositions:

– Participation is open to all comic works artists from all over the world.

– Comic works entries can be from 1 to 6 pages long, minimum 3 pictures

and must be sent in A4 format (21×29, 7cm). Send only good print copy (300 dpi), the comic works will not be returned!

– ,Theme is free

– Comic works will be to send through post and e-mail.

– The text for the comic works can be on: Macedonian language (for the Macedonian authors),

English, or one of the languages from EX JY countries (for the authors from these countries).

– Each artist(scenario,pencils ,inks,color…) can take part with only one comic works.

– The comic works entries can be submitted by more than one artist (but please specify who

does what: scenario, pencils, inks, color…).

Each participant must send: photography, short biography along with personal address, telephone,

e-mail and the year when the comic works is made. Without this the submission will not be considered.

– All submitted comic workss will be represented properly and will take part on the Showroom in

Veles, and other really possibilities for promotion.

– The best comic works will be selected by three member jury, which will give following awards:

1st award: "The Golden Comic works", logo and diploma

2nd and 3rd award a diploma.

1st Salon Interplanetary MAD and Brazilcartoon 2010

01 – The 1st Salon Interplanetary MAD, is being organized by the Brazilian and MAD magazine Brazilcartoon,

will be conducted in accordance with the following schedule:

PARTICIPATION:

The Hall is open to all graphic artists of any planet in this solar system in terms cartoon, caricature or Comics. Each participant can subscribe to as many categories as you wish, unlimited amount of jobs, his own authority and UNPUBLISHED, subject to cases of non-compliance with these conditions to the cancellation or forfeiture of prizes or entries received without prejudice other penalties that fit, including criminal.

CATEGORIES:

FUNNY CARTOON: Design humorous without necessary connection with any particular fact, but should be FUN. So, no cartoons depressive mental.
CARICATURE THEME: Merge great names of history, celebrities, politicians and so on with the figure of Alfred E. Neuman, as is done on the covers of MAD.

Comics (HQ) or Strips: Any story told in sequential steps / frames.
The criterion of winners will be how much is funny.

II BIENAL of HUMOUR “LUIS D’OLIVEIRA GUIMARAES” – PENELA 2010 (Portugal)

REGULATIONS:

 

1) The contest is open to all caricaturists/ Cartoonists, all graphic artists with humor, professional and amateur.

2) The subject matter of the exhibition is: Theatre  (Theatre Drama, Musical, Caricatures of the theater …)

3) – Deadline: May 1, 2010
4) Each artist can send until 4 works in black and white (one color – not accepted drawings 2, 3 or 4 color) format not exceeding A4, open to all techniques and styles (the work done the computer, beyond their transmission in electronic form – CD or floppy disk 300 dpis Jpeg – must also have an A4 print, hand signed and numbered 1 / 1) as a caricature, cartoon, design humor, strip, plank bd (a story board only) … identified and they should come on the back with name and address, e-mail. The works must be accompanied by a brief curriculum.
4) The work will be judged by a jury consisting of: a representative of the Board City Hall, a representative of the Parish of Cord; representatives of a family Oliveira Guimarães, the Artistic Director of the Biennale, a representative of the sponsors, and two guest artists, and awarded the following awards:

1st prize –  € 2.000,0

2nd prize – € 1.500,00

3rd prize – € 1.000,00

5) The Jury has the right not to exhibit any submitted work with no quality

6) – The organization shall inform all the artists by e-mail have been selected, and what the artists awarded.
7) – Will be published book, as well as postcards
8) – The winning works are automatically acquired by the organization. All others will be returned after the exhibition, with its catalog at the end of 2010.
9) – Reproduction rights are owned by the organization as soon as it is to promote this Hall, and occasionally discussed with the authors, for other uses.
