1. Participation
The contest is open to all artists regardless of nationality, age, sex, etc.

4. Entries
1) The works whether they have been awarded in other contests previously will be accepted.
2) Participators should summit the original works. Any slide, photograph or xerox will not be accepted.
3) The maximum 10 entries should be submitted for each category.
4) The maximum size of the works should be 700 ×700mm respectively.
5) The works should be accompanied by the author’s resume and photo (or caricature).
6) First name, Last name, Address, Email, Telephone number should be written on the reverse side of the works.
Please specify in envelope: "2012 Gold Panda"
7) Technique and medium of works are unlimited. Any painting, Print making, Traditional Chinese Painting, Oil
painting, Watercolor, Crafts art or Children’s painting will be accepted.
5. Entry Form

6. Deadline and Exhibition
1) The deadline for entry is the 29 of February 2012.
2) The Opening of the exhibitions will take place in "HONGTU" Art institute on May , 2012.
7．Delivery
1) The entries must be flat protected with hard cardboard, or rolled in a hard case. The folded works will not
be accepted.

8. Judgment
1) The jury committee is composed of artists, print engravers, cartoonist, illustrators and press editors.
2) The jury meeting will be held on April , 2, 2011.
3) The committee will announce the result on April, 15, 2011 on web site. At the same time organizer will
contact the winning artists via postal mail or email.
9. Prizes
1) Gold Panda prize – Golden Panda Medal + 2000 US Dollars – 1
2) Best work prize – Silver Panda Medals + 300 US Dollars – 5
3) The special prize of jury meeting – Copper Panda Medals – 30
4) Selected prize – Certificate of merit
10. Copyright
Explicitly participators have whole copyright for their entries. The committee has the right to use all the
submitted works to spread competition on media, websites, posters, post cards, advertisements, etc.

11. Catalog
The authors whose works has been selected will receive one copy of the catalog made for the competition.
12. Provisions
1) The submitted works will not be returned. They will be exhibited and displayed in Redman International
Cartoon House.
2) Participation in the contest means the complete acceptance of all the above conditions and agreements with
jury’s decision.

2st International Retrofitting Cartoon Festival on Rural Housing

As Second Retrofitting cartoon festival is going to be held in Tabriz on October 2011 and we will be
honored if you accept our invitation and send your cartoon to us.
Retrofitting International Cartoon Competition is held in Tabriz by Retrofitting Cartoon Festival
Organization.
The competition is open to professional and amateur cartoonists from all over the world .

With regards to the issue of upgrading and retrofitting of rural housing and related institutes interest in this
field specially on cultural issues and a cartoon festivals, we decided to inform the deadline of the Festival to
all cartoonist and civil engineers.
all who have not been able to send their artistic works to us or their works have been failed to deliver , can
take their time and send their works until 15 Nov, 2011.

Regulation:
– Each participant can send maximum 5 artworks in each Section.
– Sending (Name, family name, post address, Email address and Telephone)
of artists Just by word file is necessary.
– The catalogue will be send to the entire artist that their
artworks published in the catalogue.
– Artworks must be in 200 dpi by width or length of 2000 pixel
by jpg format.
– Subject of [Fadjr] must be mentioned in the send Email.

on this basis for the first time we mean to study the subject of art in the medium specifically accordingly beside the international press and news exhibition press office of ministry of culture will held the festival of world press art annually in order to improve the visual grade of Iranian press
This festival has different part such as : layout cartoons and caricatures photos covers press graphic with the subject of peace and justice the international festival allows the participants to compute with other artists all around the world for their last year published or digital works meanwhile after the evaluation by jury the selected superior works will be shown in the international press exhibition

7)for selected works in case of not receiving the original version till 27 Oct 2011 they would be refused participants should send the row files in case of jury’s request

11)the first three superior works with the subject of peace and justice will be awarded by the festival premium prize
