The “Good Word” International Comics & Cartoons Project-February 28, 2008 The `Good Word` International Comics & Cartoons Project

I would like to invite you to take part in the new International Comics & Cartoons community, BuzziNews.

Hello

I would like to invite you to take part in the new International Comics & Cartoons community, BuzziNews.

The vision of the BuzziNews portal is to convey a positive outlook on current world, business, sports and entertainment events in a language that`s understandable to e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e – comics and caricatures. BuzziNews is a business with clear social objectives: 25% of the portal`s revenues will be awarded to the illustrators who contribute their time and talent to the portal, and 50% of the portal`s net profits will be donated to charity.

BuzziNews has initiated the `Good Word` worldwide comics illustration project. We invite you to say a good word through illustration about all the positive things that surround you or choose a less-traveled road and find the positive side of something that upsets you, a singer with a failed album, a disappointing team or coach, an irritating company, a business rival.

SERIOUS NOTIFICATION TO MOHAMMED ALI KHALAJI…

SERIOUS NOTIFICATION TO MOHAMMED ALI KHALAJI…

It’s a time that we observe cartoons in International contests
and competitions that by optimism we can mention
them as inevitable similarities.

Although the subject of inevitable similarities in cartoon
is an unavoidable matter, but the great number
of such works makes the doubt of copying in the minds.

Unfortunately it’s a time that this doubt is expanding,
 because of many similar cartoons
of Mohammad Ali Khalaji from Iran.

This event made the mind of universal cartoon society
pessimistic and suspicious toward art of cartoon in Iran,
that Iranian artists made great efforts for its exaltation.

Site of Iran Cartoon is so sorry for this event,
and is hopeful by giving serious notification not
to see such problems in cartoon field in the future.

FOR  “SIMILAR CARTOONS”…

I do not want to blame Irani cartoonist Khalaji, who won the first price

in the 8th International Mediteranian Cartoon Contest,

however I realized him for a long while ago…

Not wih his cartoonist character but with his similar/imitation artworks…

Because he had become one of those whose names were mostly

announced as imitators of humor, beyond the drawings.

The last cartoon that he won the prize was the last proof of it.

To use the humor that has been used by someone else before unconsciously or

by coincidence may happen to any of us…

There is a lot of samples of it…

However, if cartoonist has many of those similar/imitation artworks,

it is unavoidable to doubt.

In this case, I do not think positive things about Khalaji’s situation.

I hope I am wrong…

I present some cartoons of Khalaji…

These samples are the ones make me doubt…

Greetings and peace..
