1st International Cartoon Contest Festival de La Ciudad de las Ideas

Dear fellow cartoonists were invited to participate in the 1st International Cartoon Contest Festival de La Ciudad de las Ideas. I am pleased to inform you that we have been invited to participate in the discussion of ideas through our work.  

The Unión Iberoamericana de Humoristas Gráficos (Iberoamerican Union of Graphic Humorists) and Poder Cívico A.C, within the framework of the La Ciudad de las Ideas (Ideas City) Festival invite you to participate in the 1st International Contest for Caricature with the theme: What are your three most dangerous questions?

The La Ciudad de las Ideas (Ideas City) Festival invites professional cartoonists from all over the world to participate in the debate of ideas with one of the most powerful tools, the image. The objective of the contest is to showcase the fundamental role of graphic humor for the themes that are moving society today. Graphic humor is a journalistic genre for protest and civic compromise, which pretends contributing for getting into action and reflection. 

Create, invent, take part, challenge the ideas already established through the Second City of Ideas What are your questions more dangerous, “and win a ticket to the Festival de La Ciudad de las Ideas 2009 Re-Evolution.  

Visit the official website of La Ciudad de la Ideas. Understand that this is the Festival de La Ciudad de las Ideas and search “Win your ticket” where you will find the basis for cartoonists.
