NOTE:

Our efforts on ”similar cartoons” issue intend no opposition  
against  in any way neither institutions nor private cartoonists nor  
a specific contest. If you notice our ”similar cartoons” gallery  
includes some works of Don Quichotte Cartoon Committee members too.   
We do not separate any cartoon in that sense.

We call it ”similar cartoons.” It means that just as it is. It  
means neither copying nor plagiarism. Our aim is not accuse people  
with a crime. We show resemblances and let the viewer judge it. We  
believe that the only one who knows the truth about this kind of this  
is the cartoonists him/herself. We have to precise that we are  
seeking ”a clean, honest cartoons and the works which are not  
utilizing the others labor” We judge nothing, but with this we hope  
more respect for the cartoon art.

In our own competition about world languages, we will try some new  
approaches, in order to be safe side. After the first election tour  
we will publish the last 100 rest cartoons in another banner and at  
this stage we will establish another new jury, which we call  
”similarity jury” who will go through the elected and selected  
cartoons one more time.

After this work is done the award-period will begin, not before. With  
all this we hope that we will be an example for cartoon contest  
arrangers. Best you all…
